Happy Fall Harvest
Here are some healthier versions of old classics that you can use for your Fall Harvest celebration:
- Healthier Rice Krispy Treats.
- Bite-sized honey popcorn balls.
- Fruit dipped in dark chocolate.
- Homemade trail mix.
- Caramel apples. It’s okay to splurge a little! =)
Also don’t forget to add some fun games to your harvest festival that your students can participate it. You can have them bob for apples, carve pumpkins, and even add an exciting scavenger hunt to keep your students moving. Not only will they have fun but they’ll be getting some exercise in as well.
October is a fun month full of varies activities. Make sure your students realize that they can still have fun and yummy treats. The key is to have everything in moderation. Have a wonderful October!
